Comedy, tragedy and history rolled into one giant character, Harry Langdon captures the continuing legacy of John Candy in this 1994 “Sidney Greenstreet” session. Loveable, huggable, and laughable, Candy’s distinctive vulnerability and massive wit are evident in this photo. This glorious tribute is believed to be the last formal photo taken of the world-class polka wizard before his untimely death on the set of “Wagons East.” In loving memory, the photo was used at the memorial services. !
