One of the great beauties of the silver screen, Gene Tierney was not just a pair of perfect cheekbones. She appeared in such classics as 1943's Heaven Can Wait, 1945's Leave Her to Heaven (for which she earned a Best Actress Oscar nomination) and Laura, and 1947's The Ghost and Mrs. Muir.
