Once and forever known as the Sarong Girl, Dorothy Lamour became famous such exotic features as 1936's The Jungle Princess, 1937's The Hurricane, and 1938's Her Jungle Love. Her best-known work, however, was as the straight woman to Bob Hope and Bing Brosby's antics in the many Road pictures they did together, among them Road to Singapore in 1940, Road to Utopia in 1945, Road to Rio in 1947, and Road to Bali in 1952.
